Official tax receipts for financial contributions made to the Oshawa Conservative EDA (CFC-Oshawa) during tax year 2018 will be processed and mailed in January 2019.

As required by the Canada Revenue Agency and Elections Canada, our Association's Registered Financial Agent usually processes and mails all official tax receipts, along with a note of appreciation for all eligible one-time or aggregate financial contributions made to the Oshawa Conservative EDA (CFC-Oshawa) during the prior tax year in mid to late January, well ahead of our mandated deadline.

Your official receipt(s) will be sent to the address indicated on your personal cheque or credit card contribution. Receipts may only be issued in the name of the original contributor.

Please take special care to safeguard your receipt(s) and, if possible, make an additional copy(s) for your personal or tax records. While our Association's Agent is able to provide back-up copies of your original receipts this may take additional time, particularly during our busy early spring financial reporting season.

If you made a contribution(s) to the Conservative Party's national office (Conservative Fund Canada) by personal cheque or credit card, whether by mail, at an event, or through a telephone solicitation, receipts for these contributions are processed exclusively by the Party's national office, not our local Association. If you require a back-up or copy of a receipt for a contribution made to the national party during tax year 2018 or any previous year, you must contact the Ottawa office directly at 1.866.808.8407.

Please note that our local Association cannot -- under any circumstance -- issue a receipt for a contribution made to the national party (Conservative Fund Canada). All questions or enquiries regarding contributions made to the national party must be directed to the Conservative Party.
