Elect delegates to attend the Conservative Party's January 29–31, 2026, National Convention in Calgary.

Oshawa's Conservative members will elect up to 10 delegates, including one youth delegate under 25, and 5 alternates who'll help shape our Party’s future by voting on policy, constitutional amendments and voting in the mandatory leadership review.

Interested individuals will be announced at the meeting and may be invited to offer a few brief remarks in support of their nomination.

Voting is by secret ballot. Each voting member of our Association may vote for up to 10 nominees. The top vote achievers shall be elected as delegates. The Association's President and Member of Parliament are automatic delegates.

If you wish to stand as a delegate or nominate another individual, please send a note to us at info|at|oshawaconservative.ca. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor.

Important Considerations for Prospective Delegates:

Delegate fee: All delegates must register with our Party and pay the official delegate fee. Early-bird discounts apply and a portion of your ticket fee may be eligible for a federal political tax credit.

Travel costs: Oshawa's delegates should plan for a return flight to Calgary, typically $400 to $600.

Accommodation: Calgary hotels average $150–$250 per night. For the 3-day convention, please budget $450–$750.

Meals and incidentals: Meals and personal expenses may total $150–$300 in addition to your ticket/travel costs.

Potential total costs: With tickets, travel, lodging and meals, an Oshawa delegate should anticipate approx. $2,000–$2,500 in out-of-pocket expenses.
